Description
"She's gone! She's gone! Bono yells before Gone, his voice a little shaky - not for the last time tonight. This second night in Dublin has an odd vibe unlike any other show on the tour, possibly because of Princess Diana's death. But Bono seems to enjoy the show - a rare thing for a hometown gig when your're basically getting your kit off in front of your friends and family.
Before Even Better Than The Real Thing Bono riffs on the rivalry between Dublin city's regions: "From the Northside to the Southside, you can kiss my backside, look on the bright side... we're all the same side," but he sounds a little tired.
(Pimm Jal De La Parra)
Sound
Bono's voice sounds very clear, also The Edge's guitar. The bass does not become effective so well. The public sounds quiet. Simply a very good audience
