CD 1 & 2 : London, June 18th, 2005

This is a mix of 2 broadcast from BBC Radio 2 the 1st being live on the night then an edited rebroadcast later that year on the 27th dec 2005.
The original live broadcast started transmitting at around 9pm the actual concert started at 8.20pm missing the first 40mins ( 8 songs )
Although this concert is still missing 3 tracks (Electric Co. New Years Day and Beautiful Day) it does now include Vertigo, Elevation, I Still Havent Found, All i Want is You , and a complete version of City Of Blinding Lights.

U2 play a great set tonight I Want Is You making its 2nd appearance of the tour and I Will Follow's 3rd. Today is the hottest day of the year and the 70.000 crowd are in high spirit , "Sexy London " Bono shouts during Elevation "A married man flirting with the entire city of London" as he plays with the crowd.
The band are faultless tonight and Bono's voice is perfect "Right we're going live on the BBC" Bono announces during All I Want Is You to huge cheers from the crowd. Tonight Miracle Drug is dedicated to the doctors and nurses "especially the Nurses" Bono is almost reduced to tears during a passionate Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own "Now look what you've started" he say's at the end of the song. A killer version of Where The Streets Have No Name is played tonight with Bono making reference to Africa "This is our time from the charity of old Live Aid to the justice of the new Live 8" All Because Of You is dropped tonight due to the stricked curfew imposed " they don't give the Rugby any shit" Bono say's before going into a beautiful acoustic version of Yahweh and closing with Vertigo for the 2nd time tonight .

The sound is spot on,on this boot an absolute must have.
Bono's voice is perfect.
