Paris - July 11, 2009

This is my first attempt in filming a concert (so bare with me) ;)

My location was behind the stage so especially at the beginning I was a bit undecided what to film hence much action took place at the front of the stage obviously. However with time I improved, and the guys showed up at the back quite a few, "many" times to my surprise, especially Edge.

It's the complete concert only with like 5 seconds missing after Get On Your Boots and before Magnificent. I stopped recording because I thought a security guy was walking towards me. Songs weren't cut tho.

I used the internal mics, sound is ok imo.

As you will see, I didn't have a tripod and used zooms of 30+ which caused some shakiness even tho I have an optical picture stabilisator (if that's how you call it in English).
Anyhow I tried to be as still as possible - in which I was successful at times :wink:.
Some nice close ups especially of Larry and Edge.

When you burn and watch it on TV the picture quality is quite nice I must say. I was a bit apprehensive for it not being a HD camcorder and for filming when it's dark. Now I must say that it turned out that it was well worth to f*** the concert feeling and concentrate on filming, so to speak...
