My Father Is An Elephant is an original bootleg because it compiles the show of Canterbury - which is complete - and that of Paris of December 3, 1980 - for which it misses 11 O' Clock Tick Tock in opening and show closure. The Parisian concert is the last European concert of this Leg, but also the whole first concert of U2 in France. Bono tries some rare times to speak French with the audience. One will however regret the weak duration of the set suggested, in particular the absence curious about The Ocean however very often played twice at the time of the round.

La présence du public est vraiment minime, on ne peut que regretter que la voix de Bono soit quelque peu couverte par les instruments, et plus particulièrement par la guitare de The Edge.
