boyacrobat's comments :
This was a project i wanted to do from long ago, lovetown melb/syd matrixes , wondering what it would be like, it had to many hurdles for me to jump
ike fluctuating bpm between the 2 sources , pitch climbing, diving quiet a bit . it was a nightmare to work with.
i could not do it, i left it for the future, pending my wav acrobatics getting good enough for me to be able to jump all hurdles involved.
time sorted me out to be able to develop the skills to put this together, quiet a little effort to merge this was.
the tuning on source 1 was to erratic to deal with on its own, chromatic tuning of source 1 only to bring it to the tuning of source 2,
source 2 is still slightly off concert pitch, but not at all as bad as source 1.
both rec run at 50/50 ratio , i eq the two sources while both playing to bring out the best of both .
merging the two was quiet fun because of the different soundscapes both offer together.
i know this show quiet well and the two together created a tone quiet pleasing to me, it also gave the rec some
reall ambience that the two on there own lacked.
this may not be for everyone but its a gold brick for me, i love it.. |
