Disc 1 (1-24) : Cardiff - June 29th, 2005.

The band play an almost perfect performance of the Vertigo Tour, meaning they avoid any mistakes for the most part and give a very good, if unexceptional performance, to a responsive and loving crowd. The setlist is fairly standard for this tour. The main thing to make the show stand out is it was in a closed roof stadium so the whole show is in the dark.

There are two audio options available to the viewer on this DVD. The first, and set by default, is the very good audio bootleg recording that has been synchronised with the image. The second is the original camera audio recording from Crewey’s video, resynchronised for no delay. Like the video this second audio track has been converted and re-encoded and so is of lower quality than the original Crewey release.

Crewey was unable to provide the original DV tape of his recording as it no longer exists and, as a result, his footage has been converted from the DVD and then re-encoded for this DVD, and is therefore downgraded. Therefore this new edit is not a replacement for his version but rather an interesting alternative.
The additional clips used vary in quality from fairly poor to absolutely astoundingly amazing. See sample screenshots for good examples.

The edit features new additional footage from five more cameras that, as well as allowing for the removal of some Crewey’s more “shaky” footage and the often obstructing “wobbley head”, and as well as making for a more exciting viewing experience, also allows for the short unfilmed period during Crewey’s tape changing to be covered; giving the completely full length concert.
