At first i want to tell that i respect a lot of Knyght's job in his mix, especially because he finished it 1 month after the show !!! It's exactly with the same film i worked, there's nothing new except some digicams and a better sound. I don't inspire at any time of his mix, except for the tracks after Where the streets have no name where i only have digicams films. I took some part of his mix with his authorization (Thanks Luca ;-) ) (notably the One's campaign with Yahweh's clip to have the full film. Unfortunatly, there are many missing part where i used some photos ....)
The traget of this mix was to use a maximum of numeric handycams and to use less as i can the digicams ! The result give a film more clear than Knight's one but not necessarily with better view !
Zébule's film on Edge's side was very useful because there were not many cut from Vertigo to Bullet the Blue Sky, but after that, big lack .....
If i took many time to put this mix around it's because i waited for along time a Master versio of Erude film more complete ... who by mistake delete his DV master tape. I finally have to resolve myself to work with his wmv file that he share on Emule there's 1 year ago.
The third film also come from Emule, impossible to identify the taper, it was shot in general admission and offer some nice close-ups, unfortunatly it's very shaky.
To sum-up, from the begining to Where the streets have no name, we have a correct mix, with nice various pictures and a great sound, after everything is in lower quality except the sound. It's really pity that nobody was able to film the whole show with a DV handycam. |
