"I've seen out there that this recording was made with a 1st gen analog source. I was told by the guy who passed me this one that it was right from a 3rd gen, not a 1st. Curiously, a few days later, I had the chance to listen to a little sample of the real 1st gen, and trust me, sounded superb and better than this one. So I strongly believe now that the common complete soundboard recording of this concert was made with a 3rd gen.
However, this item sounds fantastic, quite powerful, very crisp and clear. Tape degradation is audible from time to time, but it really occurs in a few occasions, so it is not very disturbing. Music and vocals are pretty clean, and audience noise is virtually non-existent. Note that a slight hiss stays in the background, being more audible in the quieter parts of the concert.
11 O'Clock Tick Tock fades in, joined in progress. The Electric Co fades out at 04:46, missing a good portion of the song. Bad, which is the first track of CD2, fades in, so maybe the taper did a tape flip between both songs. An edit can be found between Party Girl and Gloria, that only affects to crowd noise."
