Hum, how to explain the history of this bootleg...
I had think to tape the two Amsterdam shows (15 & 16). While arriving in the stadium, I saw, with my great pleasure that I was very close to the loudspeakers, although being in seated place.
The concert starts, I decided to put to me against the barrier which separated the seated place & the general admission. I slightly puts itself behind a rather big person to avoid that security staffs see me (they are really close !).
All occurs well until New Year' S Day. In the middle of the song, 5 guys of the security walk just behind me to go to nab higher somebody in seated place ! I discreetly look at the others people of the security services remained in G.A, and I see that they seek really the Tapers(audio and video)! It still during I Still Haven' T Found What I' m Looking For. I really don't smell myself quiet and especially I do not benefit at all from the show. Rather than to make me transfer, I decide to cut the recording.
But either I badly pressed on the buton, or I forgot that my MD was on "Hold", always is it that while returning at home, I realized that the minidisc was full ! (what explains why it posted me "full" when I wanted to record the concert of the 16).
From the beginning to I Still Haven' T Found What I' m Looking For (included), the sound is very good, not too much public, and the sound of the band arises really well. Then, starting from City Off Blinding Lights, I put the microphones under my tee-shirt, therefore the sound is choked more, but nevertheless listening. Lastly, starting from Sometimes You Can' T Make It One Your Own, I put my MD in my bag, a little behind me. Oddly, the sound really doesn't change and especially, we hear just a little bit the audience.
Being close to the loudspeakers, even under my tee-shirt and in my bag, the sound nevertheless remained audible. |
