Thanks, Crowd And Taper Outro ==================================== Contenu des disques ==================================== Daly City San Francisco (CA) - March 8th, 1985 Taper's comments : In case anyone was wondering... back on Nov. 8 05 I uploaded the HiFi audio of this. Naturally there were requests for the video. That wasn't going to happen then, but thanks to Grner1(cue applause) it's happening now. But before you get too exited, you need to realize that this is an extremely marginal viewing experience. To attempt to shoot a concert back then was really the most ambitious audience taping endeavor one could dare try. Nothing about this was stealth friendly. A compromised BGP employee was essential. Full size camera, a deck the size of a Webster dictionary, spare battery, VHS blank, Nakamichi 300 mics, cables, etc. This was a borrowed camera, paired with my newish portable HiFi recorder(the FIRST available). I had never done any kind of live video before and it shows. This is very shaky and there are really only occasional moments that are very watchable. Another problem is that the camera did not handle the difficult lighting conditions well at all, the spotlights totally overexpose the band members for much of this. The group of screaming girls between me and the stage are a problem for both sound and picture. So now you are forewarned, more of a completist, collector item I guess. At the very end you will be treated to a quick outro by my assistant followed by me briefly turning the camera on myself. There have only ever been 2 or maybe 3 anolog copies made of this master, one to an active trader(begins with a P) many years ago, so this exists out there but never before has this quality been available. ==================================== Revue : ==================================== AchtungBootlegs.com / 07.10.2008
